Project Manager Field Service Technician

This position requires a dependable, detail-oriented project manager, with a willingness to travel from site to site to assist with post sale projects. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction trades and a background in architectural wall product installation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide assistance during critical stages of product installation
- Make site visits to assess installation problems
- Monitor work of construction trades persons for progress and quality
- Assess field situations and offer solutions to problems with installation
- Support Manufacturing, Engineering Teams as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in the construction trades and understand construction documents and processes
- 2+ years' experience in project management or related field
- Familiar with AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to utilize mobile communication tools
- Detail oriented
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and customer base
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Good problem solving skills
- Able to perform moderate physical tasks on job site
- Possess valid driver's license
- Some overnight travel required
Compensation
- $65,000-$75,000
- Expense reimbursement
Physical Demands
Travel via car or train, some walking, standing, stair climbing required
- Occasional moderate lifting
- Visual acuity to read detailed information
