Position Description

Join a financially stable manufacturing company and a high-performing, close-knit team as a Project Management Coordinator. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, coordinating details across departments, and ensuring seamless communication regarding any changes to project plans.

 

The ideal candidate has prior coordination experience in manufacturing or a background in furniture or architectural wall products. Familiarity with the construction process is highly valued.

The Project Coordinator provides critical support to the sales and project management operations, reporting directly to the assigned Project Manager. This role ensures the smooth execution of projects by managing schedules, documents, and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
  • Serve as a liaison between general contractors and installers.
  • Process awarded projects and manage order entry.
  • Review and manage contracts, insurance documents, labor quotes, purchase orders, and close-out materials.
  • Analyze architectural documents.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports.
  • Process sample submittals.
  • Track and reconcile project financial records prior to shipping and month-end billing.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
  • Understanding of the construction process, including timelines, schedules, tasks, insurance, change orders, and field checks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Procore, ArchinetOnLine, or similar cloud-based construction applications preferred.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is a plus.
  • Background in the movable wall or construction industry is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Info/CSI experience is a plus.
